  • In a mini-series of two different concerts, Laura sang songs by Alf Hurum with pianist Steven Luksan in art museums in Tacoma and Edmonds with Hurum’s own paintings projected alongside the music, and solos in his works Lilja for a capella men’s chorus, as well as an arrangement of Emigrantsvisa arranged for string quartet and voice by SPU student Nathan Molvik in botanical conservatories in Tacoma and Seattle.

  • Laura joined pianist Angela Draghicescu in a concert of songs by Norwegian women that are so rarely performed they were only recorded for public enjoyment by the duo in 2023 for the first time. Songs were selected from their new album of the same name, to be released on Chandos in 2025.

  • Laura perfored the soprano solos from Edvard Grieg’s incidental music to Henrik Ibsen’s immortal Peer Gynt. This semi-staged production included dancers, a hardanger fiddler, and a chamber chorus alongside the Thalia Symphony.

The Nightingale Project: The Extraordinary Jenny Lind
