The Sons of Norway Songbook

  • Inspired by the centennial of the first edition of the Sons of Norway Songbook, originally published in 1926, soprano Laura and pianist Steven Luksan offer programs exploring selections from the three different songbooks.
  • All musical selections can be found in the Sons of Norway songbooks and include national anthems, both official and un-official, uniquely Norwegian-American songs, serious Norwegian classical music, charming original ballads, as well as both haunting and arousing folk-songs.
  • Concerts of varying lengths, educational lecture-recitals, and workshops available.
