  • Laura and Saint Mark’s Associate Organist John Stuntebeck will bring Scandinavian church music to Thomsen Chapel exploring ancient Norwegian stevtoner, Danish organ works, Swedish church arias, folk song and hymns, and settings of religious texts up to the present.

Peer Gynt 2025

  • Presented by the Northwest Edvard Grieg Society in collaboration with the Thalia Symphony and Choir of the Sound.

  • Laura will sing the soprano solos in this over-the-top production of Edvard Grieg’s Incidental music for Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt, complete with a slew of musicians, folk dancers, actors, disembodied voices, and extravagant adventures to far off exotic places.

Music From Home – Connecting the Pacific Northwest to Norway

  • Laura and Steven Luksan will present a concert exploring the music of Norwegians who immigrated or spent time in the Pacific Northwest and living composers from our area who continue to explore what Norwegian music means to us still here.

Musical Migration
